We specialize in helping people recover from automobile accidents, sports injuries, and workplace injuries. We can help reverse injuries caused by repetitive motion, poor posture, and poor lifting habits.

Michael's Massage

Michael believes that the best massage is one that works. He uses his training and a combination of modalities for a 60 minute massage using the best parts of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu and Trigger Point that gives clients a reason for returning over and over.

Chair Massage

$1.00 per minute/minimum 15 minute session 

Seated massage in a special chair designed for massage, where the fully clothed client sits leaning forward with his or her head resting on a pad. With this modality, Michael has access to the neck.

The massage is usually 30 minutes and focuses on your back, shoulders and neck and arms. The benefits of chair massage are similar to those of full body massage; lowered anxiety, stress and blood pressure, a boost in the immune system, increase circulation, and the relief of any muscle pains or headache, improvement in sleep quality, and flexibility.

Reflexology Foot Massage

$1.00 per minute/minimum 15 minute session 

The therapist rubs, squeezes and strokes using pressure points on the feet and upper legs that are thought to correspond to specific organs and other parts of the body. Relief for those who suffer from the pain of long hours and stresses on the feet and legs.

Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is the most common forms of bodywork and one of Michael’s most requested services. Michael’s primary goal during his Swedish massages is to completely relax his clients with light tapping, gentle movement of the joints and long, gliding strokes.

Michael’s clients leave his sessions feeling relaxed and energized. Swedish massage relieves muscle tension as well as speeds up muscle recovery. It can further improve sleep, boost the immune system, combat PMS, and help to manage anxiety and depression.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a beneficial and specific massage treatment used to relieve chronic muscle tension and pain. Michael uses deep pressure to focus on the alignment of deeper layers of the muscles, tendons and fascia (fibrous tissue found throughout the body).

Deep tissue massage helps our clients who suffer from chronic aches and pain in areas such as the upper back, stiff neck, lower back pain (sciatica), leg muscle tightness and sore shoulders. This massage modality lessens pain and allows clients to recover and function better.

Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy

Myofacial means muscle tissue (myo) and the connective tissue in and around (fascia). Myofacial pain often results from muscle injury and repetitive strain. When stressed or injured muscle forms trigger points, contracted knots that will cause pain or tightness. When a muscle harbors trigger points you experience pain, stiffness, tension, and physical limitations as well as loss of normal function.

Examples are: Tennis elbow, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, hand and arm pain, Repetitive Strain Injuries, pelvic pain, hip pain, Sciatic pain (buttock and leg pain), Leg and knee pain, Plantar Fascitis (foot) pain, Tendinitis/tendinopathy, Burstitis, Arthritis, disc pain (bulge/rupture/herniation) and Radiculopathy.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics and serious sporting activities. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

Sports massage focuses on areas of the body that are damaged, overused and stressed from negative and sometimes aggressive movements. Many, other than sports enthusiast utilize this massage.
